American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift Med/Surg Orthopedics RN with prior post-surgical orthopedic nursing experience preferred and ACLS required.

• 24-bed Medical-Surgical Orthopedics unit
• RN-to-patient ratio of up to 1:6
• Cares for postoperative adult patients recovering from orthopedic, total joint replacement, podiatry, and spine surgeries
• Length of stay varies based on surgery type and discharge needs
• Night shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous post-orthopedic surgery nursing experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provides postoperative nursing care to adult orthopedic, total joint replacement, podiatry, and spine surgery patients
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Covid vaccination is not required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• Candidates should discuss extension plans with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
