Consumer Loan Officer

Overview

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a Consumer Loan Officer with excellent communication and member service skills to join our growing team. In this position, you will help our members realize their financial goals by listening to their needs and providing them with lending solutions that meet those needs. • Meet our members  lending needs by providing them with a lending experience that meets their financial needs in a professional, positive, and personal way.
• Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships in order to become our members  personal lender.
• Participate in outbound calling campaigns to cultivate strong relationships with our members.
• Ensure we are meeting all our members  financial needs by searching for additional loan or deposit opportunities with every encounter.
• Deliver results that exceed member expectations, individual goals, and department goals.
• Provide our members with peace of mind by presenting them with optional protection products during the loan process.
• Process consumer loan requests from application to closing.
• Understand and follow the credit union s lending policies.
• Be willing to work a modified work schedule if necessary, including some evenings and Saturdays.

Lending Contact Center (no face-to-face member interactions)

• High School Diploma/GED
• Previous experience at a financial institution or 3 years sales experience
