Field Technician Job Description

Responsible for installation, repairs, and performing preventative services and troubleshooting on liquid Bulk CO2 tanks and beverage gas systems. Ensures high-quality standards are met and work is completed in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.

• Follow all company safety and operational policies, procedures, and directives from the Supervisor.
• Maintain telephone communication with the supervisor and/or dispatch to communicate timely estimated time of arrivals and completion of calls/work.
• Perform installations of CO2 gas detection systems and associated cabling.
• Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication.
• Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly.
• Pull, route, or label CAT5 or CAT6 cable.
• Use a ladder where necessary to run cabling.

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, and construction fields.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Field service and installation experience.
• General labor skills including carpentry, low voltage, drywall, and data cable management.
• Experience with pulling wire and using power tools.

• Mechanically inclined.
• Experience using power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to provide daily communication.
• Must have own power drill, hammer drill (if available), and 6-foot ladder.

Contractor will drive to various sites such as gas stations, restaurants, and other retail locations with soda dispensaries.

This is a Contract position based out of Evansville, IN.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Evansville, IN.
