Bus Driver - Evansville

Overview

Sycamore Services is seeking a Bus Driver to make a difference in other's lives and your own by providing transportation to promote community involvement and a sense of independence for individuals with disabilities.

The Bus Driver will transport individuals, while driving a 14 passenger bus with lift and wheelchair accessibility, within Vanderburgh county.

• Transport individuals as assigned, providing assistance as necessary.
• Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle at all times, including safe boarding and unloading of passengers.
• Drivers must have the ability to complete daily pre-trip inspection and accurately complete service logs.
• Maintain the ability to transport individuals using a 14 passenger bus with lift and wheelchair accessibility within Vanderburgh county.

• 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to obtain a public passenger chauffeur's license
• Must have phone accessibility
• Ability to keep accurate documentation
• Must have clean driving record

• Knowledge of developmental disabilities

• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds; upper body leverage strength required
• Bending, standing, and sitting for long periods of time
