Join Performance Food service as a CDL Class A Shuttle Driver. Earn an average annual pay of $70,000–$80,000 and receive a $5,000 sign‑on bonus (terms apply). The position is full‑time, entry level, and offers a Sunday‑Thursday schedule with dispatch between 2 pm – 4 pm.

Food and food‑service delivery drivers play a crucial role in our supply chain. As a Shuttle Driver you will transport empty trailers to our operating company warehouse locations, then move full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations, ensuring timely and compliant deliveries.

• Perform all required safety checks and inspections according to DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safe‑driving guidelines, and ensure freight is properly loaded and secured.
• Maintain route paperwork and ensure it is available at dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to the predetermined route schedule.
• Execute hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines.
• Park and store tractor‑trailers in designated areas.
• Secure equipment and freight, lock all doors, and store in base facility.
• Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailers, then complete necessary paperwork.
• Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required.
• Record hours of service in compliance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor, loading dock, and keep trailers clear and clean.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state‑approved equivalent.
• Internal candidates must be in good standing.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Age 21 or older.
• Meet all state licensing and certification requirements.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past 3 years.
• Work required on a 3rd‑shift schedule, Sunday‑Thursday nights.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT health card or ability to obtain one.
• Capable of hand‑lifting and using equipment to move freight ranging from 10–35 lbs up to 60–90 lbs.
