Department DescriptionThe CHA Imaging Department provides advanced medical imaging services led by a team of board-certified physicians, certified technologists and service-oriented staff. We offer a full complement of imaging services, including a 128-slice CT and a wide bore 1.5T MRI. We also offer interventional radiology services, diagnostic X‑ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), which demonstrates our commitment to the safest and best quality care possible.
The Mammography Technologist is a crucial member of our dynamic, interdisciplinary team providing patients with the highest quality of imaging care.
Job PurposePerforms routine and urgent mammographic procedures on a daily basis for all sites.
Must be capable of working independently, unsupervised, and in a fast‑paced setting.
Must possess good communication skills.
This position requires a wide range of technical knowledge and past performance of excellence in technical ability.
Qualifications / Requirements- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program
- Current Massachusetts state license in Mammography
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- This is a network position and may require assignments at multiple locations.
