$43.67 to $58.09, depending on level of experience.
Primary PurposeThis person will be a member of an operations team in a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import and distribution facility. The position is union represented (UWUA Local 369).
Essential Job Functions- Acts as a team member with all employees.
- Complies with all Constellation policies and procedures.
- Performs the duties of an LNG terminal operator in a 12‑hour daily rotational shift environment, including holidays, weekends, and nights.
- Loads LNG trucks and monitors terminal functions at the discretion of the Shift Foreman, which includes reporting, documenting and computer skills.
- Provides routine maintenance and security tasks.
- Trained on environmental procedures annually.
- Operates the facility recognizing the environmental consequences of actions taken.
- Strives for the lowest reasonable environmental impacts.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
- TWIC card required. (Transportation Worker ) Obtained and maintained.
- Must possess or obtain a Massachusetts Grade I Industrial Wastewater License.
Essential Physical Abilities
- Lift and move truck‑loading hoses weighing 20‑30 pounds.
- Carry a 20‑pound tool kit to the top of a tank or the ship.
- Climb to the top of a tank (200+ steps).
- Board ship via gangway.
- Scale vertical steel ladders up to forty feet or more in height.
- Meet all responsibilities in a rotating shift environment, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and nights.
- Pass written and practical examinations to maintain employment.
- Undergo a 6‑month probationary period with evaluation before the end of the period for continued employment.
- Capable of frequently standing, walking, balancing, sitting, climbing, stooping, squatting, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting (minimum 50 lbs), feeling, talking, and hearing.
- Perform repetitive motions as required.
- Have eyesight corrected to 20/40 to accurately read and interpret instruments, gauges, and manuals.
- Physically capable of entering and working in confined spaces (crawl spaces, shafts, small enclosed areas, pipes, etc.).
- Physically capable of performing demanding work at various heights and in adverse conditions during operations, shutdowns, and emergency activities.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Cryogenic experience is a plus.
- Formal education in a related technical or engineering discipline or experience is desirable.
- Exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
- Noise level usually moderate; protective ear equipment must be worn.
- Approximately 30% of work performed indoors and 70% outdoors.

- Must meet the physical requirements of 49 CFR 193.
