The West 3 - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Department at Everett Hospital is a 35‑bed unit for patients with general and complete medical and surgical needs, often serving those with serious health issues. The unit includes 5 private rooms, 2 respiratory isolation rooms and a hemodialysis tandem room with 2 bays. Skilled and compassionate nursing staff care for approximately 25 patients each day in collaboration with an expert Hospitalist Team.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will comply with CHA Service Standards for welcoming patients. In this fast‑paced environment, you will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care and communicate with patients, families and other health team members effectively. You will also implement core measures as indicated and report directly to a designated nurse manager, clinical manager or off‑shift manager. Applicants should possess excellent communication, assessment, documentation and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate the ability to prioritize while working with a culturally diverse population.
Qualifications- BSN Preferred
- Current MA RN Licensure
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- Proficiency in telemetry and ability to independently interpret telemetry strips preferred
- Minimum of 2 years current Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
Newly hired experienced RNs interested in committing to a minimum of two years of employment at Cambridge Health Alliance may be eligible to receive a retention bonus of $10,000. Part‑time employees may be eligible for a prorated retention bonus. Please speak with your HR Advisor for details.
