About the Role:

As an Event Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service during a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. Your primary objective is to ensure guests have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience by efficiently serving food and beverages while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. You will collaborate closely with event coordinators, kitchen staff, and other servers to uphold high standards of hospitality and event execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality, preferably in a fast-paced event environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience serving at large-scale or formal events such as weddings or corporate functions.
• Certification in food handling or alcohol service (e.g., Serv Safe).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Multilingual abilities to assist diverse guest populations.
• Physical stamina to carry trays and lift moderate weights safely.

Responsibilities:

• Set up event spaces according to specific layouts and service requirements.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests throughout the event.
• Assist in clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the event area during and after service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation standards.
• Assist with breakdown and cleanup of event spaces following the conclusion of events.
