Sunrise Services is seeking a Client Relations Facilitator (Receptionist) to join our Supported Living team.
Pay Range$20.77/hr - $20.77/hr
About The ProgramSunrise Services is a social services agency that focuses on providing for the unmet needs of vulnerable individuals in our community. We offer caregiving services, behavioral health resources, vocational services, and more. The Supported Living Program offers assisted‑living services to adults with developmental disabilities, promoting a high quality of life, self‑determination, and independence.
Essential Functions- Open and close the Main Office Building lobby and maintain a clean lobby area.
- Provide timely, proactive, and professional customer service to all internal and external Sunrise customers.
- Greet visitors in person or on the telephone; answer questions and refer inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Monitor, process, and direct voicemails left on the main phone line.
- Support the QA work group with administrative tasks and prioritize connection of calls and messages from DDA, RCS, APS and other external partners.
- Model a positive, proactive and priority‑focused communication style that encourages collaboration and allows space for all voices to be heard.
- Maintain employee and department directories; route calls to SL work groups and other divisions.
- Manage the Copy Room: complete assigned projects, keep the room neat and organized, monitor and report stock levels, and request maintenance as needed.
- Oversee garage storage: maintain an organized area, monitor and report stock levels, and report any broken or damaged items.
- Perform Office Bathroom duties: keep the area neat and organized, monitor and restock supplies as needed.
- Conduct Break Room duties: make coffee, monitor cleanliness, and clean the refrigerator and freezer once per week.
- Report any vehicle or building issues to the SL Director.
- Set up, coordinate, and conduct group activities for Community Living participants (fitness, social skills, arts/crafts, games, etc.).
- Research and design various one‑time and regular events; identify and obtain necessary supplies and equipment; schedule rooms or other areas.
- Create and distribute flyers and other event advertising.
- Provide minimal driving to pick up items from the store.
- Ensure events promote support and/or teach skills to participants in health and safety, power and choice, positive self‑recognition, integration into community life, relationship building, and competence and self‑reliance.
- Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Experience:
Minimum one year as a receptionist, secretary, administrative assistant, or office manager (working with the public) preferred. - Licensure/Certification:
Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and a Driver’s License within 90 days of hire; attend required training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience or ability to learn common office equipment such as modern phone systems, fax machines, and copy machines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and One Drive).
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb stairs and ladders.
- Professional demeanor at all times.
- Other considerations: long periods of sedentary activity.
- Familiarity with multi‑line phone system.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent phone/voice etiquette and overall attitude of helpfulness, graciousness, and hospitality.
- Self‑motivated, works independently, can multitask, and prioritizes work.
- Professional appearance.
- High degree of diplomacy in interaction with people in all situations.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Compensation- $20.77/hr
- Wages determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.
