Compass Health is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant II to provide high-level administrative and operational support to our Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations, effective communication, and successful implementation of organizational initiatives across the agency.
The Executive Assistant II serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership, managing complex schedules, preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and supporting strategic projects that advance Compass Health’s mission to deliver high-quality behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive executive-level support to the COO, including calendar and email management, prioritization of high-level issues, and preparation for internal and external meetings.
- Facilitate communication and coordination across departments reporting to the COO to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects, including system implementations, facility planning, and agency-wide program development.
- Prepare, edit, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and other executive-level documents with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
- Collect, analyze, and distribute data and reports to support leadership decision-making.
- Coordinate meetings, committees, and cross-functional work groups; prepare agendas and materials as needed.
- Represent Compass Health professionally in meetings with vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for administrative and corporate records.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities for staff reporting to the COO, including paperwork and PAF completion.
- Participate in organizational committees and employee engagement initiatives.
- Remain compliant with required trainings and certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of progressively responsible executive/administrative support experience.
- 3–5 years of project management experience required.
- Experience in medical, mental health, or social services settings strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License and appropriate insurance.
- Strong knowledge of executive-level administrative support, project management, and coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- High level of technological proficiency and problem-solving ability, including use of electronic health records for reporting.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-priority environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent executive leadership professionally.
- Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor in challenging situations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check (may include DSHS search).

Physical Demands / Work EnvironmentThe employee will work in an administrative office environment. Duties include occasional lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and require regular sitting, standing, walking, talking, and close vision. Noise level is usually moderate. Occasional travel for meetings or events may be required.
