Special Education Teacher Elementary. Part time flex

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to work part-time with elementary students. This role offers flexible hours, allowing you to balance your commitments while making a significant impact on students' lives. This position is at a private school and it calls for 10-12 hours per week.

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to the unique learning needs of elementary students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Utilize various teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to create inclusive educational settings
• Regularly assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as necessary

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field;
  Master's degree preferred
• Current state certification in Special Education
• Experience working with elementary-aged students with special needs
• Knowledge of effective behavioral therapy techniques
• Strong literacy education background
• Ability to develop engaging and effective lesson plans
• Experience with standardized testing and assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70-85 per hour

1099 Contract position

Temporary till the end of the year with possibility to renew
