Substitute Pool:
Teacher (2025-26) WA state teaching certificate current/pending

Role within Everett Public Schools. Apply to join the Substitute Pool for the 2025-26 academic year. You must hold a current or pending Washington State teaching certificate.

• WA State teaching certificate that is current or pending
• Official transcripts (front and back) required; upload with application
• Complete application must be submitted with all supporting documents by the closing date at 4:00 p.m. on the closing day. Only completed applications will be screened.

Substitute - Certificated (salary schedule provided by district).

• All K-12 school districts in WA participate in the Washington State Health Care Authority’s SEBB Program, providing health care and other benefits to eligible employees. Additional benefits such as retirement info and collective bargaining agreements can be found on the Everett Public Schools Benefits Website.
• Substitute employees are eligible to enroll in the SEBB benefits package after working 630 hours in a school year.
