Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings, preferably within elementary education. This role is based in Everett, WA, and focuses on supporting students in elementary schools with diverse occupational therapy needs.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapy services to enhance students' functional abilities and participation in school activities. Collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff is essential to ensure comprehensive care and promote student success.
Key qualifications and experience:
* Proven school-based occupational therapy experience is required
* Expertise working with elementary school-aged children
* Familiarity with the needs of middle and high school students is beneficial
* Understanding of early childhood occupational therapy assessment and intervention is a plus
* Ability to manage an elementary caseload effectively
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to work alongside school professionals
