Certification Manager (H/F)

Location:
Everett, WA
Salary: $78,350.00 - $97,937.00
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Indirectly responsible for implementation and maintenance of certification department procedures and work instructions.
- Directly responsible for generation and accuracy of all project‑specific certification documentation that is assigned.
- Reports on the performance of the certification activities for projects, ensuring that conformity inspections and documentation are planned and accomplished, and that all project conformity records have been submitted for review and approval.
- Directly responsible for tracking and adherence to the certification schedule for assigned projects.
- Supports project meetings and teleconferences as required.
- Provides input on project budgets.
- Coordinates with the Director of Certification and FAA designees (FAA projects).
- Coordinates with the Office of Airworthiness and EASA designees (EASA projects).
- Actively works with the quality assurance disciplines to ensure that conformity inspections and documentation are planned and accomplished, and that all project conformity records are submitted for review and approval.
- Understands and promotes all health, safety and environmental legal and regulatory requirements including company policies and standards.
- Leads by example, enforces and sustains a strong safety culture and compliance‑driven practices in the work environment.
- A four‑year technical degree or a minimum of 6 years of industry experience in aircraft certification — or other combination of education and experience acceptable to the Director of Certification.
- Strong knowledge of FAA and/or EASA Certification Procedures, FAR and/or EASA Certification Standards, and the commercial aviation certification process.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong verbal, technical writing, and written communication skills for internal company, customer, and authority interactions.
- Hardworking, dependable, organized, and self‑disciplined.
Primarily office work with some travel required. Consistent use of computer keyboard and monitor. Occasional travel may be required.
Physical RequirementsOccasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
