A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer (Regulatory Compliance) in Everett, WA
.
Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 1+ Year
Location: Everett, WA (Onsite)
Position Responsibilities- Work independently while leading teams to perform detailed Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations related to regulatory compliance issues.
- Perform investigations following the Problem Solving Model process.
- Coordinate closely with functional groups, management and suppliers to align investigation status and resolution.
- Investigate regulatory compliance issues, develop comprehensive root cause investigations, containment actions, and verification of non-recurrence.
- Ensure investigation write-up meets regulatory expectations and coordinate with ODA.
- Partner with enterprise groups to continuously improve processes and tools.
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- 9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools such as 5-Whys or Fishbone, and/or the Problem Solving Model (PSM).
- 1+ years of experience with commercial airplane operation, certification, safety requirements and procedures.
- Working knowledge of FAA Regulatory Compliance and ODA procedures per 8100.15.
- 1+ years of experience working with FAA or other regulatory agencies.
- 1+ years of experience in Commercial Airplane-Systems design or analysis (e.g. Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Avionics, Fuels, etc.) or Systems Integration.
- Pilot’s license.
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay Range: $75-$80 per hour.
