Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for regulatory compliance issues, including FAA Letters of Investigation, compliance actions, voluntary disclosures, and airworthiness non-compliances.
- Guide cross-functional engineering teams (Systems, Structures, Payloads, Propulsion) through structured investigations using the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM).
- Identify problem statements, systemic root causes, containment actions, and preventive actions to ensure non-recurrence of compliance issues.
- Coordinate closely with FAA, Organizational Designation Authorization (ODA), suppliers, and Boeing leadership to meet regulatory and documentation expectations.
- Communicate complex technical and regulatory issues clearly to engineers, non-engineers, executives, and external stakeholders.
- Support airplane certification activities across the full aircraft lifecycle while contributing to overall product safety and compliance.
- Continuously improve investigation processes and tools in collaboration with enterprise and Chief Aviation Safety Office (CASO) teams.
- Work onsite in Everett, WA as a mid-level engineer (Level
3) with 5+ years of experience, strong leadership, initiative, and teamwork skills.
