Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an NDI Quality Test Specialist (Non-destructive inspection Level
2) Ultrasonic Test to join the 777X Composite Wings Center team based out of Everett, Washington.
This position focuses on the wing structures of the 777X in the new composite facility. While you are here, you will be involved in extensive, detail-oriented phased array inspections of the interlaminate structures. This program represents the future of Boeing and is crucial to the company's success.

Position Responsibilities- Performs setup for specialized non‑destructive test or measurement equipment
- Develops procedures and processes
- Conducts inspections with Automated robotic equipment, analyzes data, and decides on acceptance or rejection of wing structures.
- Documents and communicates failures with Non‑conformance records.
- Provides feedback on adverse trends.
- Conducts certification preparation training and testing.
- Certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NAS
410‑Compliant Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing (UT) - 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Able to lift 30 pounds on a frequent basis
- Willing and able to work variable shifts
- Willing and able to travel 5% of the time
- 3+ years of experience related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in NDI (non‑destructive inspection) or NDT (non‑destructive test)
- Current or prior certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NAS
410‑Compliant Level 2 in Ultrasonics (800 hours of documented On the Job Training and 80 hours of compliant classroom training) - On‑job‑training hours submitted prior to interview
- 1+ years of experience with data analysis on non‑destructive inspection software
- 1+ years of experience working both independently and in team environments

Summary Pay Range for Mid‑level (NDI Level 2, Contributor
3): $81,400 - $103,500
