In this role, the manager will lead a dynamic team of engineers in the development, validation, verification, integration, and certification of the Integrated Modular Avionics System. The manager will also support maintenance and customer service for in-service airplanes. This role emphasizes engineering quality and meeting our commitments, while fostering a collaborative, safe, and engaging team environment.

- Oversee planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while focusing on quality and safety.
- Partner with suppliers to establish project plans, manage execution, and ensure compliance with technical requirements, promoting teamwork and shared success.
- Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project demands, ensuring the team is well‑equipped to tackle challenges effectively.
- Lead initiatives to enhance engineering processes and products, fostering a culture of innovation and proactive problem‑solving.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and certification processes through effective oversight of technical approaches and products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and global teams to facilitate effective communication.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality, encouraging team members to raise concerns and suggest improvements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA.
Basic Qualifications – Required Skills/Experience- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 2+ years of experience in leadership or management role.
- Ability to travel for business as needed.
- Experience in the development, integration, and verification of aircraft systems.
- Knowledge of FAA certification processes and safety analysis.
- Experience with qualification testing or lab testing.
- Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.
- Proven track record managing risks and issues to resolution.
- Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values.
- Demonstrated ability in team building, coaching, and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement.
- Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.
