Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Systems Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level or Senior) to support our Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team in Everett, Washington
. The role focuses on developing SE&I tools in Interface Control Definition (ICD), Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and cross‑tool model integration for future airplane products and derivatives across BCA and the Boeing Enterprise.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional global teams to define, implement, and test new tool capabilities and integrations.
- Apply an interdisciplinary, inclusive approach to analyses, design, development, and verification of lifecycle‑balanced system‑of‑systems and system solutions, both for SE&I tools and via their application to Boeing's products.
- Develop recommendations for selection, implementation techniques, and tools to meet business needs, including current and future capacity requirements.
- Lead the development and definition of product or system architecture by creating validated requirements, identifying system/component interfaces, and addressing multiple stakeholder/customer viewpoints.
- Establish standards and guidelines for model‑based integration across multi‑disciplinary modeling domains.
- Work within a SAFe Agile framework.
- Collaborate with IT architects and data architects to define future software/tool architectures and capabilities aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Ensure technical content is timely, coordinated, and accurate.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to early‑career systems engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Experience in requirements development, validation, and verification.
- Knowledge of coding languages and databases such as Python, Gitlab, Mark Logic, Neptune, Graph
DB, and/or UI design. - Software test planning and execution.
- Airplane systems design.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills and experience.
- Openness to new ideas and willingness to challenge teams.
- Bachelor of Science degree in an accredited engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science program.
- 2+ years of engineering experience.
- Understanding and experience in systems and/or software engineering, including systems architecture, requirement development, integration, verification, and validation.
- Knowledge of software development and/or testing.
- 9+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools, including SysML.
- Experience with configuration management across domains.
- Knowledge of ARP
4754B guidelines.
Position is 100% onsite: The selected candidate will work on‑site in Everett, Washington.

Level 2: $94,350–127,650;
Level 3: $114,750–155,250;
Level 4: $138,550–187,450.
