Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Everett, WA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 6:15 AM–2:45 PM

Pay: $40–$44 per hour

Contract: 6-month contract

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing system, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and serving as the voice of quality within the organization. The Quality Engineer will work closely with internal teams and external customers to maintain and enhance product and process reliability.

• Drive corrective and preventive actions to close gaps in the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Represent the organization in customer and supplier interactions.
• Direct new product validation and process qualification to establish controlled processes.
• Perform risk analysis and develop control plans.
• Provide training in quality assurance topics for Quality and Manufacturing teams.
• Evaluate and process RMA requests.
• Develop inspection and sampling techniques, quality control plans, and associated training.
• Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO and internal standards.
• Support purchasing with technical assistance for raw materials and supplies.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of relevant quality experience.
• Familiarity with ISO
  13485, ISO
  9001, AS9100, or NADCAP standards preferred.
• ASQ certification desirable.
• Knowledge of plastics processing and manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and standards.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) for ITAR/EAR compliance.

• Frequent standing, walking, and handling small parts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Exposure to moderate noise and occasional fumes or airborne particles.

This is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 – $44.00/hr.
