Since Helion's founding in 2013, we have raised over $1 billion from long-time investors such as Sam Altman, Mithril, and Capricorn Investment Group as well as new investors Soft Bank and Lightspeed to propel us forward. Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high‑power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). We are now operating Polaris, our next prototype on the path to the world’s first fusion power plant.

This is a pivotal time to join Helion. You will tackle real‑world challenges with a team that prizes urgency, rigor, ownership, and a commitment to delivering hard truths – values essential to achieving what no one has before. Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can’t wait.

We are hiring an Integration Technician to assemble Helion’s fusion generators and subscale plasma devices. • Integrate electromechanical components and systems to the fusion generator’s primary structure
  • Design and fabricate fixtures to aid in the assembly of electromechanical components
  • Coach technicians, developing their technical skills
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the entire production process
  • Be able to squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports to accomplish our goals
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Technician focused on rapid prototyping and iteration
  • Experience operating heavy‑duty machinery (forklift, boom/scissor lift, bridge crane, etc.) and using light fabrication tools (power tools, mills, lathes, etc.)
  • Experience with high‑voltage systems or vacuum systems
  • Experience designing parts/fixtures in CAD software
