The Fabrication Estimating team supports interior and electrical systems responsibility centers to develop estimates for new and sustaining airplane programs. The team also aids the Core Fabrication Estimating team in program‑level estimate development.
As an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist you will leverage expertise in statistics, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain to develop cost estimates, business cases, price and offer analyses, and support work transfer activities. You will collaborate across cross‑functional teams, communicate clearly to stakeholders and management, present confidently, and work with minimal supervision.
Position Responsibilities- Develop estimates and prices from technical requirements through design, build, and aftermarket support stages
- Prepare and validate estimates and prices
- Evaluate requests for proposal, substantiate estimates/pricing, and assemble price proposals
- Develop estimating and pricing methods
- Evaluate and develop business cases
- Perform analysis and provide recommendations supporting pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
- Develop and maintain pricing models
- Incorporate data into and maintain structured systems and coordinate program database requirements
- Develop, apply, and maintain rates and factors for estimating, pricing, and proposals
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years in a finance‑related position such as estimating, financial operations, cost management, accounting, financial planning, contracts, or procurement financial analysis (PFA)
- 3+ years using Microsoft Office Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 2+ years analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results
- 2+ years working on a cross‑functional team
- Master’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experience in technical, operational, or manufacturing environments with demonstrated ability to convert that knowledge into financial opportunities
