We have an amazing opportunity for aFull Life Care - Homecare Specialist to join our team!
** This role starts at $24.24 per hour
***** This position is represented by SEIU Local 775
***** Our Homecare Specialists:
*** Provide non-medical care tasks to clients as outlined in their care plans.
* Guide and actively assisting Homecare Aides with various client needs, including personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
* Facilitate and maintain  communication between the client, their Homecare Aide, and the Homecare Supervisor when necessary.
* Effectively and promptly communicating client changes to Homecare Supervisors.
* Serve as an on-site problem-solver for both the Homecare Aide and the client.
* Participate in team meetings to discuss client concerns and program updates.
* Assist with clerical tasks such as payroll entry, filing, orientations, processing applications, and contacting clients and Homecare Aides as needed.
* Demonstrate knowledge of all homecare training procedures and tools.
* Think critically in the field and seeking direction from Homecare Supervisors as needed.
* Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
** What You Need to Succeed:
*** A high school diploma or GED is highly preferred but not required.
* A minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience.
* Completion of all required state-mandated training and certifications.
* Ability to complete tasks and projects as assigned by your supervisor.
* Proficiency (written/verbal) in English language.
* Strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
* Availability to be reached and respond quickly to client emergencies.
* Experience with Hoyer lifts and completion of Nurse Delegation and Nurse Delegation for Diabetes training highly preferred.

* Physical Requirements:

*** Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
* Capability to travel intermittently throughout the day.
* Ability to assist clients with walking, transferring, and bathing.
