Overview
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) independently provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems. The LCSW incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. The LCSW will collaborate with patient and support system to develop and implement trauma informed evidence based person-centered care plans across the care continuum in collaboration with the Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT).
The LCSW shall perform duties in a manner that respects patient self-determination that reduces health disparities/barriers to care, and adheres to the NASW code of ethics, Standards of Practice (SOP), and mission.
- Independently provide comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems.
- Incorporate concepts and theories related to life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change.
- Collaborate with the patient and support system to develop and implement trauma-informed, evidence-based, person-centered care plans across the care continuum in collaboration with the Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT).
- Respect patient self-determination and work to reduce health disparities and barriers to care.
- Adhere to the NASW code of ethics, Standards of Practice (SOP), and the mission of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Master s Degree - Social Work or related field of study.
- Washington Advanced Social Worker License upon hire or Washington Advanced Social Worker Associate License upon hire
- Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire or Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License upon hire
- Washington Mental Health Counselor License upon hire or Washington Mental Health Counselor Associate License upon hire
- 5 years of relevant Social Work experience (may include post MSW LICSWA experience).
- 1 year of experience as a Social Worker in a Behavioral Health setting, including experience with involuntary and voluntary psychiatric hospitalization.
- Chemical dependency counselor / alcohol and drug abuse counselor experience.
