DescriptionA Health Information Management Records Specialist performs various tasks and functions related to medical record documentation including oversight of the online Legal Medical Record. These functions include document-imaging processes, analysis of records, transcription support, release of information, and birth-certificate processing.

Preferred Qualifications- Coursework/Training: additional vocational training and/or college-level coursework.
- 1 year previous customer-service experience
- Experience with document-imaging systems.
- 1 year previous Experience in HIM / Medical Records
- Experience with word-processing and spreadsheet programs

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
