Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time occupational therapy opportunity serves a diverse K-12 student population across a school district in Everett, WA. The role focuses on providing therapeutic services to students aged 3 to 22, with a caseload of approximately 70 students. The position offers the chance to work closely with an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), fostering teamwork and comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver occupational therapy services to a wide range of students in school settings, addressing developmental delays, sensory processing issues, and fine motor skills challenges.
* Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
* Conduct assessments, set goals, and document student progress.
* Provide direct therapy interventions according to best practices and district guidelines.
* Participate in district-wide program development and team meetings.
Qualifications:
* Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license is required.
* Experience serving children and adolescents, with a willingness to work with a broad age range (3-22 years).
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* No prior school-based experience is necessary; orientation and support will be provided.
Location and
Schedule:
* Onsite position based in Everett, WA.
* Full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week).
* Immediate start through June 12, 2026, with opportunity to extend for the school year.
