Enterprise Applications Administrator

Helion is a fusion power company based in Everett, WA, aiming to build the world’s first fusion power plant and deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy.

Since Helion’s founding in 2013, we have raised over $1 billion from investors including Sam Altman, Mithril, Capricorn Investment Group, Soft Bank, and Lightspeed. Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). We are now operating Polaris, our next prototype on the path to the world’s first fusion power plant.

• Administer and support Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools: permissions, schemes, workflows, custom fields, templates, dashboards, integrations
• Manage security and compliance across business applications, including RBAC, SSO/SCIM integrations (Okta, Azure AD), audit logging, environment strategy (dev/test/prod), and change control processes
• Manage integrations and data flows between applications (via APIs, webhooks, middleware) ensuring consistency, security, and reliability
• Own the enterprise application stack: evaluate new SaaS tools, maintain vendor relationships, manage roadmaps, contracts, upgrades, and migrations
• Partner with functional stakeholders (engineering, operations, product, HR, finance) to translate business needs into system configurations, optimizations, and automations
• Monitor system performance, log issues, and proactively troubleshoot application or integration failures
• Enforce role-based access control, data security policies, and governance protocols across applications
• Participate in change management, releases, and onboarding/offboarding processes
• Be on the rotation for support / incident response for critical systems when needed

• 5+ years in systems administration, systems integration, or business analysis
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Hands-on expertise in integrating and automating systems through APIs and middleware
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Net Suite, Siemens PLM, NX, CAD/CAM, HRIS, and ATS systems
• Proficient in Windows and Linux environments, Power Shell scripting, Microsoft 365, and Entra  (Azure AD)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Note:

This is an onsite role that reports directly to our System Security Manager at our Everett, WA office.

Helion’s compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity.

Annual Base Pay: $110,000 - $147,000 USD
