Job Overview

Boeing is seeking an Experienced Software Developer to join our Manufacturing Quality Information Technology Team. The role involves full stack development and maintenance of multiple existing Manufacturing Quality Enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, initiates improvements and innovations, demonstrates adaptability, executes to organizational strategy, and has a strong interest in learning new technologies and the Boeing Manufacturing Quality business processes.

Position

Responsibilities

• Stabilize and secure multiple applications
• Development, deployment, and maintenance of multiple Java/Oracle applications
• Development, deployment, and maintenance of multiple applications in other development languages and technologies, learning them as needed
• System security compliance
• System technical debt remediation
• System change and configuration management
• Production support; work across the enterprise to resolve software and infrastructure issues
• Support regulatory compliance and quality audits
• Continuous learning of system functionality and infrastructure, business operation processes, and new technologies and methodologies
• Maintains a productive sense of urgency, making progress on multiple priorities, and delivering as planned
• Execute to Boeing IT strategies & objectives
• Cloud migration
• Dev Sec Ops
• Agile
• AI Software Engineering & Automation

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, deployment, maintenance, and support
• 3+ years of experience in data integration development and maintenance
• 3+ years of experience in a Linux/Unix environment
• 3+ years of experience in Java
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL
• 1+ years of experience in an agile work environment
• 1+ professional experience in AI Software Engineering & Automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Web Sphere, Spring Boot
• Experience working with system integration toolsets and methodologies (e.g. ETL, Autosys, Pub/Sub, JSON, RESTful Web Services, Perl)
• Experience working with common industry development tools such as Visual Studio, Jet Brains Suite, Git, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops (ADO), JIRA
• Experience working with App Scan and/or Coverity Code Security Scans and Fixes, Cyber Arc

Typical Education & Experience

Typically 5 or more years' related work or military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Telecommuting and Onsite Requirements

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite on certain days at one of the listed location options:
Hazelwood, MO;
Renton, WA;
Everett, WA.

Pay Rate Range

Min Pay Rate: 63 USD hourly;
Max Pay Rate: 68 USD hourly
