What Success Looks Like:
Your Impact

• Working knowledge of the general operation of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment, the proper methods of servicing golf course equipment, and the repair and adjustment of power mowing equipment.
• Ability to change oil, hydraulic fluid, and all necessary filter and fluids in a variety of golf course and agricultural equipment.
• Tire repair and maintenance experience, with the ability to occasionally maneuver heavy tractor and loader tires.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and well-organized parts inventory room and work area.
• Knowledge of golf course equipment and their operations and some heavy equipment operation is a plus. Training will be provided if needed.
• Assisting in daily inspection and set-up of golf course maintenance equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs before and after use.
• Help ensure golf course maintenance equipment is serviced, fueled, and ready for daily operations.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with golf course maintenance staff to identify equipment concerns and communicate repair needs.
• Work collaboratively with the Head Mechanic, Golf Course Superintendent, and maintenance team to support daily course operations.
• Participate in training opportunities to develop mechanical skills and knowledge of specialized turf equipment.
• Assist with general golf course maintenance duties when necessary, including equipment operation and other assigned projects.
• Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing maintenance priorities, weather conditions, and operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the golf course maintenance operation.
