Reporting to the General Manager, the Manager oversees all supply chain activities from Demand Management and Master Planning to Procurement, Supplier Performance Management, Logistics and Customer Service. The role manages a team of supply‑chain professionals and is responsible for:
- Establishing plans to meet budget sales, inventory and material consumption targets.
- Participating in division Demand Review and S&OP for demand‑forecast alignment and capacity balance.
- Supporting strategic sourcing activities to secure key vendors.
- Measuring and monitoring vendor performance, conducting risk reviews and implementing corrective actions.
- Performing supplier audits and maintaining premier customer service.
- Managing site inventories, cycle counting, shipments and receiving lead‑time goals.
- Leading continuous‑improvement initiatives (QRQC, Kaizen, DMAIC, 8D).
- Maintaining KPIs and team performance to support corporate goals.
- Developing and improving supply‑chain tools, processes and policies.
- Communicating needs and objectives, providing training, coaching, mentoring and talent management.
- Promoting accountability and results through strategy deployment and performance management.
- Acting as key conduit to corporate and other departments.
Education:
BS/BA degree or equivalent education/experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of progressive supply‑chain, procurement and program management experience with leadership capability.
Computer
Skills:
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ERP experience required.
Other
Skills:
Strong written and verbal business communication; comfortable delivering information to all levels, including senior leadership.
Strategic and master planning expertise, vendor management, inventory management and ERP familiarity.
Business finance skills and abilities.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or Operations.
- MBA or Master’s degree.
- 3+ years in a management/leadership role.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive or mechanical manufacturing.
- APICS and/or ISM certification.
- Data analytics tools (Power BI, SQL).
- Experience with AS/ISO standards and quality management.
