Join to apply for the PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR role at Kettle Cuisine
. This role is recruited over the last few days. The salary range is $80,000.00/yr - $/yr.
$80,000.00/yr - $/yr
Positions- 1 position on 2nd Shift, 1 position on 3rd Shift, working 6–7 days per week through February 2026.
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 pm – 5:30 am
Oversee all activities of the operations departments on the assigned shift. Maintain line efficiency and provide direction to team leaders across departments. Ensure all employees adhere to company safety, quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, coach, and develop direct reports to achieve day‑to‑day KPIs, APIs, and PPIs.
- Always adhere to safe working practices.
- Perform daily area checks for non‑compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure finished product conforms to specifications.
- Oversee operations teams to ensure efficient manufacture of quality products within time and quantity parameters.
- Drive and motivate the team to meet and exceed daily targets and deadlines.
- Accurate and timely completion of required documentation to enable clear traceability.
- Follow the company GMPs.
- Ensure a clean and tidy production area at all times.
- Properly handle safety or quality issues on shift and report them.
- Complete date code and label checks.
- Report downtime to maintenance promptly.
- Plan activities to reduce downtime.
- Record data and lead production huddles to close efficiency gaps.
- Manage ERP system transactions.
- Manage employees’ work schedules, breaks, and tardiness.
- Communicate updates and issues to relevant parties.
- Conduct weekly team briefings with direct reports.
- Monitor and action all waste.
- Encourage continuous improvement and challenge the status quo.
- Give instructions and directions to team leads.
- Perform any other tasks as reasonably requested by management.
- 2 years manufacturing management/supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Experience working within Lean or TPM manufacturing frameworks.
- Experience with perishable items.
- Proven track record in safe working practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for team environments.
- Goal‑oriented and well organized.
- Self‑starter who can conceptualize and drive initiatives forward.
- Positive attitude, motivated by contributing to team success.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Creative problem‑solving skills.
- Obsessive attention to detail, well organized, and able to juggle multiple projects.
- Comfortable moving at a fast pace and in ambiguous environments.

- Directly responsible for the safety, quality, and efficiency of up to 90 employees, full‑time and temporary, across four operations departments.
