Job Title: Packer 1

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Location: Everett, WA

Type: Full‑time Non‑Exempt (hourly)

Schedule: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, or 3rd Shift

Pay: $20.24/hr (+10% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift, +15% Shift Differential for 3rd Shift)

Valence Surface Technologies production runs 24 hours/day. Shift details: 1st shift (Mon‑Fri 6:00 am‑2:30 pm), 2nd shift (Mon‑Fri 12:00 pm‑8:30 pm), 3rd shift (Sun‑Thu 10:00 pm‑6:30 am).

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Ensure documentation is kept with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records; seal containers using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools; clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas with cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Follow supervisor instructions for specific tasks; ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.); visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly; perform other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Graduate or GED

Experience: None required

• Compensation Range $17.50‑$23.00 per hour (DOE)

Temperatures fluctuate with outside weather. Personal protective equipment may be required: safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, respirator (provided by company).
