Shift: 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM, Monday–Friday
Position PurposeResponsible for assembling various components and parts according to detailed documented instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools and specialized machinery.
- Stamp, bag, clip, trim, debur, and wrap/package parts as required in the documented instructions.
- Perform regular quality checks and visual inspections to identify and report defects and inconsistencies, adhering to quality standards.
- Complete all paperwork pertaining to production neatly and correctly following all quality standards.
- Ensure proper housekeeping by clearing and cleaning workspace.
- Ability to work with common solvents such as denatured alcohol and adhesives.
- Follow all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures and safety practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience, training and education.
- Ability to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English.
- Attention to detail.
- Capable of using various hand and power tools.
- Comprehension of basic math, including fractions, decimals, averages and percentages.
- Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Candidate must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to meet ITAR and EAR compliance.
During the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
