Electrical Mechanic 1-3 (H/F) - NORTHWEST AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES, INC.

ResponsibilitiesElectrical Mechanic 1:
- Use a variety of tools & equipment to assemble product according to required specifications & procedures.
- Assemble electrical components; wire build up & wire routing in monuments.
- Responsible for the quality of the product.
- Responsible for tool accountability & maintenance within the Electrical Shop area.
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean and safe.
Electrical Mechanic 2:
- Execute higher complexity work within the wire shop.
- Guide & teach entry level employees as a peer mentor.
- Demonstrate technical ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, & retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair.
- Perform job duties under minimal supervision.
- Proficient with Syteline or equivalent ERP system.
- Perform all duties of Electrical Mechanic 1 proficiently & consistently.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
- Complete associated paperwork & job orders.
- Perform complex connector terminations; shielded wires, coaxial cables.
- Test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility & safety of components with testing instruments.
- Measure, cut, insert & assemble electrical routing materials.
- Understands & interprets electrical schematics.
- Work in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities.
- Utilize small hand crimp tools, wire strippers, wrenches, screwdriver & pliers.
- Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads & applying terminal caps.
- Create, print & apply wire labels; route wire through panels & terminate as required.
- Route wire through closet furniture & terminate second end.
- Interpret standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, wire diagrams, formulas, sketches, verbal & electronic orders, job layouts, etc.
- Perform tying & closure of wire harnesses & cables in accordance with standard processes.
- Provide daily status updates; any other duties assigned by a Senior Electrical Mechanic.
Electrical Mechanic 3:
- Use a variety of tools & equipment to assemble product according to required specifications/procedures.
- Assembly of electrical components; wire build up & wire routing in monuments.
- Responsible for the quality of the product.
- Responsible for tool accountability & maintenance within the Electrical Shop area.
- Minimal guidance required to accomplish tasks.
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean & safe.
- Provide daily status updates; any other duties assigned by a Senior team lead Electrical Mechanic.
Knowledge/Experience Level 1: Minimum 18 years of age, High School diploma or GED, Ability to read process specification & documents such as D6-54446, Basic Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
Level 2: Minimum 18 years of age, High School diploma or GED, Preferably 3-5 years experience in an aerospace electrical manufacturing environment, FAA A&P certificate desirable, Experience with Boeing & Airbus wire specification, Ability to read process specification & documents such as D6-54446.
Level 3: Minimum 18 years of age, High School diploma or GED, Preferably 7-year experience in an aerospace electrical manufacturing environment, FAA A&P certificate desirable, Experience working with Boeing & Airbus wire specification, Ability to read process specification & documents such as D6-54446.

- Route wire within sleeves.
Additional Requirements: Ability to distinguish between the color spectrum, occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
