BUiLT Design located in Everett, Washington, is an Industrial Design firm focused on retail environment, retail display, and product design. We offer client design and fabrication services anchored with the leading brands in the outdoor/action sports industry.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position plays a key role in ensuring that production processes run efficiently, projects stay on schedule, and finished products meet company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all production duties to meet company goals.
  • Supervise and lead production teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor and adjust production resources as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
  • Manage warehouse operations and inventory levels and coordinate with the Project Managers to maintain adequate materials.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork within the production department.
Time Requirements
  • Normal shop hours are Monday – Friday, approximately 7am-5pm.
  • Occasional overtime and/or weekend work will be required during busy seasons and months.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/production management.
  • Quality Control experience.
  • Problem‑solving abilities to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Solid knowledge of common production materials, including wood, metal, plastics, and hardware.
  • Read and interpret detailed shop drawings and technical documentation (working knowledge of Solid Works or similar CAD program a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, to track progress and manage documentation.
  • Capable of managing up to 30 projects concurrently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership.
  • Working knowledge of cabinet construction, joinery, and woodworking tools.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
