Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring BLS, ACLS, and IR experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a Level II Trauma Center
• Day shifts, 4x10-hour schedule from 7:00 to 17:30
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
• Average daily caseload is 18 patients
• No weekend work required, but on-call is required during specified evening and weekend hours
• No floating between like units required
• Uses Epic charting system; experience with Epic is required
• Duties include providing nursing care for patients undergoing IR procedures
• Call coverage rotation is variable based on staffing needs
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state if required
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) allowed; any RTO must be addressed and approved prior to offer
• Flexible scrub color allowed, except for reddish orange
• Facility provides paid parking
Requirements
• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must provide at least 2 supervisory references spanning 1 year of recent comparable experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Former permanent staff must have a 3-month break before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
