American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level II trauma center, requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications along with Epic experience.

• Large ED treating patients ranging from low to high acuity, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health cases
• Acute care boarding occurs within the ED
• Level II adult trauma center and Level III pediatric trauma center
• Primary stroke receiving center and thrombectomy center accepting transfers
• STEMI receiving center
• Day shift schedule working 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating required between facilities within the state
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Provide emergency care across a wide range of acuity levels, including stroke, trauma, and behavioral health patients
• Any scrub color permitted except reddish-orange
• Facility-paid parking provided
• Candidates encouraged to remain flexible for holiday coverage
• Minimal RTO accepted with submission
• Local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
