American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level II trauma center, requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and multiple specialty certifications.
Details- Large Emergency Department treating patients ranging from low to high acuity, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health cases, with acute care boarding in the ED
- Level II adult trauma center and Level III pediatric trauma center
- Designated primary stroke receiving center, thrombectomy center accepting transfers, and STEMI receiving center
- Day shift schedule, either 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00-19:30)
- Weekend shifts required
- Floating required between facilities within the state
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Scrubs of any color accepted except reddish orange
- Facility-paid parking provided
- Candidates should be flexible to work holidays
- First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
- Local candidates not accepted
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
