Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Everett, WA | Acute Care – Women and Children's Pavilion (Labor and Delivery / High-Risk Perinatal)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

• Provide high-risk perinatal nursing care in a Level III Labor and Delivery unit with 19 L&D beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and a 7-bay triage area
• Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 in labor, 1:2–3 in antepartum, and 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support
• Participate in triage staffing alongside skilled RN colleagues per shift
• Float to Postpartum as needed to support unit staffing requirements
• Perform and document Sterile Vaginal Exams (SVE) — required competency
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Demonstrated competency in Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) — hard requirement
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated

• Experience in facilities managing 200 or more deliveries per month
• Candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Familiarity with high-risk antepartum and postpartum care environments
• Comfort working alongside surgical techs, CRNAs, and multidisciplinary perinatal teams

• Work within a comprehensive women's and children's facility featuring a Level II NICU and robust multidisciplinary support including CNAs, Health Unit Coordinators, and CRNAs available around the clock
• Facility-paid parking and access to a well-resourced, high-acuity perinatal environment with consistent staffing support
