American Traveler is hiring an experienced Case Management RN for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring prior travel experience and Epic proficiency.

• Acute hospital Case Management/Utilization Review role
• 5x8 day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Required to work every other weekend
• Patient ratio of 1:25-30
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Floating required between Colby and Pacific campuses, less than 2 miles apart
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active WA RN license or compact license required in hand at submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Discharge planning and care coordination experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• AIDA EMR experience preferred
• Diverse case management experience preferred, including Med Surg, LLOS, and ED
• ICU and ED specialty experience preferred
• 2 supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

• Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and plan of care development within a CMS-regulated environment
• Level II Trauma Center setting with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses
• Any scrub color permitted except reddish-orange
• Parking is facility paid
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted; a 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application, as post-submission requests may not be granted
