Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Everett, WA | Acute Care – Women and Children's Pavilion (Labor and Delivery / High Risk Perinatal)

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk perinatal unit including Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum settings
• Maintain staffing ratios: 1:1 in Labor, 1:2–3 in Antepartum, and 1:3 couplets in Postpartum with CNA support
• Participate in triage coverage alongside a skilled RN team in a 7-bay triage area
• Float to Postpartum as needed based on unit census and staffing demands
• Perform and document care using EPIC electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) competency is a hard requirement
• Must submit all requested time off (RTO) at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience in a facility managing 200 or more deliveries per year is strongly preferred; candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will be considered
• Familiarity with high-risk perinatal care environments including Level III Labor and Delivery units
• Prior experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams including CRNAs, surgical techs, and CNAs

• Work within a comprehensive, well-resourced perinatal unit featuring 19 L&D beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, and 24/7 provider and CRNA coverage
• Facility-paid parking and access to a supportive, team-based care environment with CNA assistance on every Postpartum shift
