Quality Engineer

Pay
: $39 to $44 per hour
Position Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product and process success through risk analysis, validation, and quality system improvements. You’ll represent quality internally and externally, supporting customer and supplier interactions while driving compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company in customer and supplier interactions.
- Direct new product validation and process qualification to establish controlled processes.
- Perform risk analysis and develop control plans.
- Provide training in QA-related subjects for Quality and Manufacturing teams.
- Evaluate and process RMA requests.
- Recommend inspection and sampling techniques and develop quality control plans.
- Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
- Support purchasing with technical assistance for raw materials and supplies.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant quality experience.
- Experience with ISO
13485, ISO
9001, AS9100, or NADCAP highly desirable. - Knowledge of plastics processing/manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings and standards.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) for compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations.
