Legion Memorial Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a Food and Beverage Team Member. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Responsibilities
  • Always maintain a professional appearance
  • Drive the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service guests
  • Maintain a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper, and other supplies
  • Stock beverage carts to par levels each day of use
  • Ensure that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed
  • Operate Jonas, guest member charges, and credit card charges according to procedure
  • Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them
  • Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service
  • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available
  • Prepare garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
  • Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
  • Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
  • Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
  • Assist in food preparation and tend bar as needed
  • Demonstrate responsible cash handling skills
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food menu options. Prior cooking experience not required
  • Understand safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean kitchen environment, including cleaning of fryer and flat top
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

The applicant must be 21 years of age or older.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be able to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Experience preferred but not required
