Job Overview

Hobby Lobby is seeking a full‑time In‑Store Loss Prevention Agent to protect our stores through undercover surveillance and apprehension of shoplifters. This position focuses exclusively on discreet floor walking and is not involved with risk management, alarm monitoring, or inventory duties.

As an LP Agent, you will perform undercover, plain‑clothes surveillance to identify and arrest shoplifters, deter shoplifting incidents, and help maintain store safety.

• One‑week paid vacation after 6 months and two weeks after one year
• Two 3‑day weekends per month

• Complete incident reports
• Review camera footage
• Apprehend shoplifters
• Review BOLOs
• Handle stressful, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous situations with rational judgment
• Build relationships with store management and local law enforcement
• Work independently and as part of a team

• At least one (1) year of prior undercover/floor‑walking loss prevention experience (required)
• Ability to travel to multiple stores in the area
• Strong communication skills
• Valid motor vehicle record check
• Background check
• Ability to spend up to 100% of working hours standing/walking
