As an Inside Sales Representative
, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and promoting our products and services.
- Identifying potential sales opportunities and following up with leads.
- Utilizing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns.
- Collaborating with the sales team and Business Unit Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies, answering customer questions in a timely fashion and appropriately resolving/escalating customer issues.
- Actively participating in sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company offerings and sales techniques.
- Creating and maintaining accurate and updated records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Correctly quoting products and services to customers.
- Promptly entering orders in our system.
- Understanding and reviewing customer ordering and inventory levels, responding appropriately as needed.
- Actively contributing and executing ideas for process improvements and cost savings
- Ongoing self‑development and personal growth as an employee
- Ability to support up to 20% travel
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business‑related field
- This is a feeder role for our Sales Engineer position so engineering degree is preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer‑facing role, preferable in a manufacturing environment
- Professional business presence
- Proficient with computers and software, with particular expertise in MS Office suite; knowledge of both ERP systems and Excel required
- Working knowledge of contract development and administration
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non‑US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization
The wage/salary target range for this role is $28/hr - $34/hr, depending on education and experience. We may look at a broader range for the right candidate.
