- Support a case load of clients qualifying for Vocational and Community Inclusion services.
- Assist employers in identifying, setting up and facilitating jobs for clients.
- Identify clients' job interests.
- Provide job coaching and promote career development support to improve job skills.
- Promote and facilitate social integration between clients and other employees in collaboration with supervisors/managers.
- Provide personal and career counseling as well as behavioral intervention for clients to enhance job performance and relationships with co‑workers and customers.
- Maintain excellent communication with company managers, supervisors and employees to support positive outcomes and to resolve client performance problems or issues.
- Teach work to clients at job sites using simple and repetitive training methods.
- Monitor client activity to ensure productivity, completion of work assignments, and quality outcomes.
- Report regularly to Vocational Services Program Manager and Vocational Services Director on client progress and training concerns.
- Communicate with employers, care providers and parents regarding any employment issues.
- Attend client PCSP team meetings when directed.
- Notify SAILS Washington supervisor immediately of problems with clients or employers to resolve issues timely.
- Document client activities, progress and support via weekly emailed reports.
- Promote employment services in compliance with agency policies and State licensing laws.
- Work with, and serve as a good example for, clients at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- US Work Authorization
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- No experience as an Employment Specialist required; full training provided.
- Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred.
- Initial office training followed by community training with experienced staff.
- Occasional office meetings required.
This is a community‑based position. Your working location will vary based on client needs. You will receive a company laptop and mileage reimbursement. The role is not remote; office space is available when not with clients in the field.
