The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join the computing team in Everett, WA. The role works in Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Product Design-Engineering organization on the development, maintenance and integration of software applications and system tools supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Engineering organizations. Software applications and system tools are developed and run on various operating systems including Unix, Linux, Windows, on premises and on internal and external cloud environments.

• Work with Technical Lead/Architect, Peer Developers and Business Subject Matter Experts to design and develop systems and applications to meet highly complex business needs.
• Work with Product Owners/Pod Leads to understand business needs.
• Work with SME/Business focals to define application requirements.
• Design, code, test, implement, deploy, document and maintain/sustain software applications.
• Application development in multiple programming languages such as Python, Django, C#, .NET, Java, C, C++.
• Work in Web/HTML technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, REACT, Angular, HTML5, REST, microservices).
• Employ CI/CD Dev Sec Ops  processes with Azure Dev Ops and/or Git Lab and deploy applications on premises and on cloud environments like AWS, Azure, Tanzu cloud, Open Shift.
• Engage in Pair Programming, conduct peer reviews.
• Work as part of Agile teams using Scaled Agile Framework.
• Utilize strong computing skills and excellent communication skills.

• 6+ years of experience with Dev Ops practices.
• 5+ years of experience with application development in one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, C, C++, Java, Python, R, SQL, Pro
  * C/C++, Perl, Shell Scripting, and Web/HTML technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, web services, REST, microservices).
• 5+ years of experience in a dedicated Software Developer role.
• 5+ years of experience working with agile teams and agile software development.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience.
• 10+ years of experience in a dedicated Software Developer role.
• 10+ years of experience with database design and query development in Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL.
• 10+ years of experience in application development in one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, C, C++, Java, Python, R, SQL, Pro
  * C/C++, Perl, Shell Scripting, and Web/HTML technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, web services, REST, microservices) and config management tools like Azure Dev Ops/TFS, Git Lab, Git Hub.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) software development.

Summary pay range: $113,050 – $152,950.

Specific programs and options may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
