Dispatcher at Transdev – Everett, WA
Transdev is hiring a Dispatcher who oversees road service through communication with operators and provides customer support to clients. We are seeking customer service‑oriented professionals dedicated to safety.
Benefits- $24.76–$27.83 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale); starting pay $24.76 with progression to $27.83 over 4 years.
- Vacation:
Up to 14 days per year. - Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs/month for full‑time, 5 hrs/month for part‑time;

- Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route start times, performance, incidents, etc.
- Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
- Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
- Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
- Other duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
- 3–5 years’ experience dispatching.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 disallows schedule I drugs, including cannabis.
- Work outside in varying temperatures, weather and humidity; 100% of the job is performed outside, often alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hrs per day); frequently walk long distances on possibly sloped or uneven surfaces.
- Push/pull objects up to 50 lb; lift up to 50 lb with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel or crouch for ground‑level items.
- Endure heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
