. Transdev on Kasch Park is hiring a Bus Driver to join our team in Everett, WA. You will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Safety-Focused Operations:
Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules, adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. - Passenger Care:
Provide excellent care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation. - Vehicle Vigilance:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly report maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness. - Adherence to Protocols:
Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance. - Other duties as required
- 21 years or older
- Valid driver s license for a minimum of 3 years
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
- Subject to a DOT drug testing and medical examination if applicable; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis
- Work outside in varying temperatures and weather conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside in some roles; work alone and in remote locations
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequent walking and possible incline or uneven surfaces
- Push and pull objects up to 15 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs; occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching
- Tolerate heavy traffic areas and exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise
- Paid holidays: 13 days after one year of continuous service
- Sick leave: 1 hour of sick leave accrued for every 40 hours worked
- Vacation: one work week after one year of continuous service
- Health care: 100% employer-paid premium for basic medical insurance, including prescription and vision
- Company-paid life insurance
- Uniforms provided by the company
- 401(k) subject to ATU 1576 union contract
- Other standard benefits: medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability
